Greenland Wheatear

The other day I managed a few snaps of a very confiding Greenland Wheatear on Teesside. It was a cracker which rarely strayed more than 10m away.

Great shots. Wheatears are birds we never see here but I have seen them many times in Africa. I once saw one in Wales and thought I had a rarity but no one else seemed impressed so I quickly concluded it was nothing special.
